Lemon-Ginger Syrup from the Thermomix®
Whether on hot days with mineral water or on cool evenings in our tea – always a pleasure!
- 1 lemon untreated
- 50 g ginger
- 130 g water
- 130 g sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- Wash and dry the lemon, grate the zest, squeeze the juice and add to the mixing bowl.1 lemon
- Peel and slice the ginger, add the water, sugar and cinnamon and cook for 10 minutes/100 °C/level 2.1 lemon, 130 g water, 130 g sugar, 1 pinch cinnamon, 50 g ginger
- Let the syrup infuse for 1 hour and pour through a sieve into a sterilized bottle. Store in the refrigerator.
Tip: You can add more lemon juice to make the syrup more lemony. You can even add honey. Vary according to your taste.
