We show you how to use garlic paste/garlic base from the Thermomix® to preserve fresh garlic for a very long time and make it available in the kitchen in seconds.
We love garlic pizza! So feel free to combine this paste with our Thermomix® pizza dough.

Garlic fresh, durable and always quickly available!
Ingredients
- 180 g garlic cloves
- 70 g olive oil
- 1 TL salt
- 1 TL lemon juice
Instructions
- Peel the garlic, add to the mixing bowl, mince for 6 seconds/speed 9 and push down with the spatula.180 g garlic cloves, 70 g olive oil
- Add the remaining ingredients, mix for 6 seconds/step 6, push down with the spatula and mix for another 6 seconds/step 6.70 g olive oil, 1 TL salt, 1 TL lemon juice
- Pour garlic paste into a sterilized screw-top jar and store in refrigerator.
Notes
Tip: You can use the paste like fresh garlic for cooking. 1/2 tsp of paste equals about one clove of garlic. Combine the paste with roasted meat or fresh baguette.
The paste will keep in the refrigerator for at least a year. Make sure the garlic is always covered with oil!
The olive oil will turn the paste green. If you mind, you can use sunflower or canola oil instead.
